DESCRIPTION:Castle Rock’s Public Art Commission invites artists to submit two-dimensional designs or artwork to be featured on a giant Adirondack chair in Festival Park\, the heart of Downtown Castle Rock. A $1\,000 stipend will be paid to the artist whose work is selected for the project. \nThe ideal design or artwork will extend a warm welcome to locals and visitors\, embody the spirit of Castle Rock and foster a strong sense of community. The intent of the chair is to provide a space to create memorable moments featuring the scenic backdrop of the park\, inviting exploration and creative expression attracting residents and tourists alike. The design or artwork could feature anything from the Rock to welcoming taglines\, and should pay noticeable tribute to the Town of Castle Rock. \nDeadline: Sunday\, June 9\, 2024 \nVisit here to submit or for more information.
