Sharon Fleming is a lifelong journaler, essayist, and seasoned writing workshop facilitator with over 30 years of experience helping individuals discover the power of personal essay writing. Throughout her career in education, Sharon has been dedicated to guiding people of all ages on journeys of self-discovery through reflective writing.
In her workshops, Sharon creates a safe and supportive environment where participants feel comfortable exploring their life experiences through writing. She helps individuals identify their accomplishments, recognize their personal significance, and foster a sense of self-awareness. Understanding the importance of connection, especially as people age, Sharon’s workshops also encourage participants to uncover shared experiences and commonalities with others, building meaningful connections within the group.
Sharon is the author of Writing Your Life Stories, a self-published workbook, and has recently developed a deck of 30 cards featuring stunning nature scenes paired with mindfulness and writing prompts.
At Tri Arts Project, Sharon teaches reflective writing in our classes, helping students explore personal stories with clarity, confidence, and connection.
