Anthony James Mick

Anthony James was born and raised in the Colorado Rockies in an earthship, a recycled house built out of tires and cans. His upbringing lent him a unique perspective on the human condition. A natural introvert, Anthony James sought to express himself through writing at an early age. Curious about our origins, Anthony sought to learn more about the world through the lens of languages and studied Latin, Classical Greek and Biblical Hebrew as a teenager. He has lived in Austria and France, and speaks fluent German and French. He went on to major in international politics at Lewis & Clark College and at age thirty, inspired by great writers like Isaac Asimov, Robert Jordan and Ursula K. Le Guin, Anthony officially began his own writing journey. Four years later he published The Heir of Atlas, Book I of the SeerSinger Chronicles, a hybrid science fiction/fantasy novel addressing extremism in our political systems and culture through the lens of a mythology based off of string theory and set in the western United States. Anthony is currently nearing completion on his second book in the series, The Eye of Atlas, and has several other standalone concepts in the works. Anthony James is the membership director for the Colorado Author’s League and enjoys serving in this volunteer role for Colorado’s rich indie author community.
