Karen DeFrates Bio Hi there! I’m Karen DeFrates, a Castle Rock-based artist who loves bringing a burst of color to people’s lives through my art. I primarily work with acrylics, using bright, playful colors to create beautiful florals, landscapes, and whimsical animal pieces. My inspiration comes from the color that surrounds us every day, and I aim to capture its beauty in every piece I create.
