Submission Guidelines – PLEASE REVIEW GUIDELINES CAREFULLY

Eligibility:
– FREE entry (up to 3 submissions per entry).
– Open to all artists working in 2D mediums. This includes, but is not limited to, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and mixed media.
– Artwork must be delivered via a high resolution electronic format. 
– Artwork must be original by the submitting artist. The awarded artist confirms they fully own the artwork, have the legal right to grant its use, and that the artwork is original, non-obscene, and free of any third-party claims, licenses, or restrictions. The awarded artist also affirms the artwork was not created as part of employment for another party and that no additional permissions are required under this agreement.
– Artist of the selected artwork grants Tri Arts Project (TAP) permission to use the artwork for marketing purposes related to the Art of Giving Gala. This includes, but is not limited to, “Save the Date” announcements, invitations, event print materials, social media, and electronic marketing materials. TAP may modify the image as needed for marketing and design purposes, including the addition of text and fonts and adjustments to accommodate various marketing formats and size requirements.

Theme:
– The theme for this arts education fundraising gala event is “Color.”  Subject matter for artwork is open to artist creative interpretation.  

Size & Limitations:
– Selected artwork must be available in a high resolution JPEG or PNG electronic format: approximately 300 DPI / 1500 × 2100 px.

Framing & Presentation:
– Optional: Original or print of awarded artwork may be displayed at the gala. Artwork displayed must be framed or have finished gallery-wrapped edges. All artwork must be ready to hang with wire and secure D-rings.

Sales:
– Work does not have to be for sale. 
– If your work is for sale, you must handle the transaction through your own website or contact method and you must provide that info with your submission
– Tri Arts Project will not take a commission on sales; artists retain 100% of the proceeds. However, we recommend a 10% donation to Tri Arts Project for any sold work to support our arts education nonprofit. This is entirely optional and is tax deductible.

Submission Process:

1. Once the Call for Entry has opened, use the form below, submit at least 1 and up to 3 pieces for consideration. Include high-quality images of each work (JPEG or PNG format, 300 DPI resolution, no more than 2MB per image).

2. Include all requested information, including your name, the title(s) of your work, dimensions, price, and how one may purchase your work.

3. Submission Deadline:
All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM MST on January 25, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.

4. Notification of Acceptance:
Artists will be notified of acceptance by February 2, 2026.

Additional Information:
– All submitted works must be original and created by the artist.
– By submitting your work, you agree to allow Tri Arts Project to use images of your work for promotional purposes related to the Art of Giving gala.
