Acrylic Painting Like Watercolor - Abstract

Luminous Art: Fun Abstract Designs with Fluid Acrylic Washes

Explore the soft, luminous qualities of watercolor using acrylic paint in Acrylic Painting Like Watercolor, a beginner to intermediate workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock. Open to ages sixteen and up, this class introduces fluid acrylic techniques that create transparency, movement, and gentle layers.

Instructor Erma Jean Woodis demonstrates how fluid acrylic paint can be diluted and controlled to mimic the look of watercolor. You will learn how to create smooth washes, layered color, and subtle texture while working toward an abstract painting on canvas. The class encourages experimentation while providing clear guidance throughout the process. All supplies are included.
