Acrylic Painting like Watercolor - May

Fluid Acrylics: Creating a Watercolor Effect with Washes and Glazes

Discover how acrylic paint can achieve the soft, luminous qualities of watercolor in Acrylic Painting Like Watercolor, a beginner to intermediate workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock. Open to ages sixteen and up, this class offers a refreshing approach for artists who want to explore fluid techniques and gentle color transitions.

Instructor Erma Jean Woodis demonstrates how to use fluid acrylic paint to create transparent washes, layered color, and subtle texture. You will learn how to control dilution and flow while working toward an abstract painting on canvas. The pace allows time to observe, practice, and experiment in a supportive setting. All supplies are included.
