Acrylic Painting: Thin to Thick Technique - March
Fluid Acrylics and Gels: Mastering Thin to Thick Texture Technique
What happens when acrylic paint moves from delicate washes to bold, sculptural layers? This all day Acrylic Painting: Thin to Thick Technique class at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock invites beginner to intermediate artists to explore how texture, contrast, and depth can completely transform a painting.
Instructor Erma Jean Woodis guides you through the process of combining fluid acrylic paints with gel mediums to create expressive, three dimensional surfaces. You will work gradually from thin washes to thick, textured applications, learning how each layer affects movement, depth, and visual interest. By the end of the day, you will leave with a completed painting and practical techniques you can continue using in future work. All supplies are included.
