After You Have the First Draft of Your Book

The Revision Plan: From First Draft to Beta Reader Feedback

Congratulations, you have a first draft. Now it is time to revise with purpose. This After You Have the First Draft of Your Book workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock is designed for Intermediate writers (Ages 18+) who are ready to move their manuscript from finished to ready for readers. Students must arrive with a complete first draft.

Author and instructor Julie Cordova guides you through the middle milestones in her proven 26 milestone path to publication. You will learn how to approach structural revision, organize a self editing plan, and prepare your manuscript for feedback. This class focuses on clarity, momentum, and making smart revision choices before sharing your work.
