Yes! Both our Acoustic Guitar – Beginner and Ukulele Lessons are designed specifically for those with no prior experience required. Our certified instructor starts with the absolute essentials, such as tuning, basic chords, and simple strumming patterns, to ensure you can build skills and confidence right away.
We specialize in small-group classes to offer a high-quality, social, and cost-effective learning experience.
Our format provides focused, personalized coaching from the instructor, Greg Johnson, for a fraction of the cost of one-on-one private lessons (which often start around $30–$35 per hour in the Castle Rock area). This structure maximizes fun and learning without the high expense.
Students must bring their own instrument to class (an acoustic guitar for the guitar class and a ukulele for the ukulele class). This ensures you have your instrument for practicing at home. All other instructional materials and sheet music are provided in the class fee.
Our music classes in Castle Rock are held at our convenient location at The Cantril School Building. This beautiful historic space in downtown Castle Rock is easily accessible for students across Douglas County.
