Collage as Creative Practice - April
Intuitive Collage: Your Subconscious Sketchbook and Generative Art Tool
Collage can be much more than arranging images on a page. This Collage as Creative Practice workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock invites you to use collage as a sketchbook for your subconscious. Open to all levels ages 16 and up, this single session class is designed for artists who want new ways to generate ideas and move their practice forward.
Instructor Aspen Crawford guides you through an intuitive collage process that values exploration over perfection. You will work with found imagery and materials to create one to two collages that function as visual diary entries. These pieces capture thought, memory, and instinct in a fast and playful way. The class ends with a supportive group discussion that helps you reflect on meaning and next steps. All supplies are included.
