Collage as Creative Practice - January

Unlock Creativity: Collage as a Generative Art Practice Workshop

Begin the new year with a creative reset in Collage as Creative Practice, a January 2026 workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock. Open to ages sixteen and up, this all levels class explores collage as a generative tool for idea development and long term artistic growth.

Instructor Aspen Crawford guides you through collage as a creative practice rather than simple assemblage. You will use found imagery and materials to create one to two collages that function like a sketchbook for the subconscious. The goal is to generate new themes, directions, and momentum for future work across painting, drawing, mixed media, or writing. The session concludes with a supportive discussion of the work created. All supplies are included.
