Glass Fusing - Beginner - June
Summer Craft: Design & Create a Custom Fused Glass Plate
Learn the fundamentals of glass art in Glass Fusing, a beginner friendly workshop at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock. Open to ages sixteen and up, this class offers a hands on introduction to cutting and arranging glass to create a finished functional art piece.
Instructor Nancy Daniel guides you through the process of safely cutting colorful glass and arranging it into a personal design. You will assemble your composition during class, and the piece will be kiln fired and shaped into a curved glass plate measuring five by five inches. Finished plates will be available for pickup from Cantril School seven days after the class. All supplies and tools are included.

This workshop focuses on foundational techniques used in fused and slumped glass projects.

Practice scoring and breaking glass into controlled shapes using proper tools and safety techniques.

What Participants Should Bring
An apron is optional. Wear comfortable clothing. All glass materials and supplies are provided. Waivers are required.
