This two week Introduction to Photography course at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock gives adults and teens sixteen and up the essential foundation for shooting confidently in manual mode.

Instructor Marc Feldman breaks down the technical side of photography into clear, understandable steps so you can begin creating images with intention and control.

This beginner friendly course focuses on the three settings that shape every photograph. Through guided lessons and simple assignments, you will learn how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together to form the Exposure Triangle. By the end of the workshop, you will understand how to adjust your camera for proper exposure and create stronger, more interesting photographs across a variety of situations.

Each concept is introduced through hands on practice, allowing you to learn the technical skills while building confidence behind the camera.

Manual Mode Mastery

Learn how to take full control of your camera by adjusting settings manually to achieve accurate exposure.

Aperture (F Stops)

What Participants Should Bring

• Digital cameras are preferred, although film cameras are permitted.
  Bring a memory card if required by your camera.
