This four week Creative Nonfiction course at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock invites you to step into the art of personal writing through the lens of the personal essay and memoir. It is designed for adults eighteen and up who are ready to explore their experiences, reflect on the moments that shaped them, and learn how to turn those memories into meaningful narratives. Whether you are brand new to writing or returning to a long held creative dream, this workshop offers a warm and encouraging place to begin.

Instructor Sharon Fleming guides you through generating ideas, drafting new work, and discovering the authentic voice that gives personal nonfiction its emotional power.

Through gentle group discussions, guided reflection, and structured writing exercises, you will build confidence in your ability to express your truth on the page. The class emphasizes connection, clarity, and the quiet courage that comes from writing your own story.
