Material Diaries: Sketch with Mini-Sculptures - May

Record Your Memories: Mini-Sculptures as Creative Diary Entries

Looking for a thoughtful way to capture ideas, memories, and moments? Material Diaries at Tri Arts Project in Castle Rock explores sculpture as a reflective practice rather than a finished product. This all levels workshop for ages sixteen and up meets over two Saturdays and invites you to work with three dimensional materials in an intuitive, personal way.

Instructor Aspen Crawford guides you through creating small, quick sculptural works using discarded and everyday materials. These pieces function as diary entries that record thought, memory, and action. The focus is on process, not perfection. Each sculpture becomes a starting point for future creative exploration. All core materials are included.

What You Will Learn in This 3D Creative Practice Workshop

This workshop uses sculpture as a tool for reflection, experimentation, and ongoing artistic development.
