Laurel Maupin

Laurel Maupin believes that music is a universal language that transcends age and backgrounds, speaking to everyone in profound ways. From heartwarming melodies to uplifting rhythms, she sees music as a force that moves people uniquely.

A Colorado native, Laurel’s musical journey began at age five with the piano and expanded as she joined the Colorado Children’s Chorale at age nine. Her experiences include international travel with the Cast of Up With People and performances with various bands. She currently teaches elementary music in Castle Rock.

As an educator, Laurel’s goal is to help students discover their own musical voices while fostering an appreciation for shared musical experiences. She encourages her students to explore the world of music and self-expression together.
