Behnaz Ahmadian

Behnaz Ahmadian was born in Iran and raised in the United States. She currently resides and works in Highlands Ranch. As an artist and art instructor, she explores a variety of mediums with a focus on acrylics, mixed media, and collage. Her fascination with pattern and color is evident throughout her work, as she intricately weaves these elements into her paintings and collages.

Behnaz also loves to draw with graphite and color pencil, capturing the unique character of animals and infusing her pieces with heartfelt meaning. Growing up in a family of creatives, her passion for art was nurtured from childhood, honing her skills as a self-taught artist. Despite earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology with intentions for medicine, her love for art redirected her towards interior design, where her sense of color and pattern flourished. Inspired by her mother, a fashion designer, Behnaz’s artworks reflect vibrant colors and intricate details. Through her art, she honors her mother’s legacy of love and joy, instilled since childhood. Each piece takes her on a journey back to her earliest artistic influences, reminiscent of her mother’s teachings in art and design.
