Unlock the secrets to professional DIY card making. This Greeting Card Making workshop at Tri Arts Project is perfect for Beginner Intermediate students sixteen and up who want to understand the tools, papers, and techniques behind clean, polished greeting cards. It is a fun, hands on Sunday afternoon activity where you will learn skills you can use for every occasion throughout the year.
Instructor Vanessa Antonsen introduces the core materials and tools used in paper crafting. You will learn how to select the right cardstock weights, how to use essential adhesives, and how to create crisp folds and clean layers with tools such as a paper trimmer and bone folder. You will also practice cutting and scoring cardstock for standard card sizes, including the popular A2 size. All supplies are included, and you will leave with multiple finished cards and a printed measurement guide to use at home.
