Biography
Although I studied architecture and interior design, I never quite found my artistic voice until I discovered glass. I found in glass a perfect balance of beauty, structure, and play. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in fused and stained glass, and today I also teach in the Denver area. My work is driven by a love of color, pattern, and the challenge of turning bold ideas into reality.
I work under the name The Reckless Turtle because I tend to work slow and steady, a planner at heart, but over time, I’ve learned that great things sometimes require a reckless leap. Now I approach my craft with that same mix of method and mischief—careful craftsmanship with a playful twist.
