OVERVIEW
We are thrilled to invite artists from Douglas County to submit their work to our second annual Artists of Douglas County Calendar Contest. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity and have your art featured in a beautifully designed calendar that will be displayed in homes across the county as well as on our social media and monthly newsletter.

Submission Details:
– Cost to Enter: The cost to enter the calendar contest is $30 and includes up to 3 image submissions. Artists not selected will not be refunded. Artists selected will receive a free calendar as well as a spotlight on both our social media channels and monthly newsletter.
– Format:  Square. Please crop your images into a square format or submit artwork that can be cropped by our design team.
– Image Quality: Ensure all images are clear and high resolution.
– Types of Work: Both 2D and 3D work are welcome. Please make sure you take clear, compelling photographs of your work.
– Number of Submissions: You may submit up to three images for the $30 entry fee.

Timeline:
– Call for Entries Opens: September 17
– Call for Entries Closes: October 4 at 11:59 pm MST
– Jury Dates: October 4 – October 9
– Invited/Not Invited emails sent by October 10, 2024
– Calendars available for purchase November 1
– Invited artists get a free calendar!

Meet the Jurors:
– Maddie Stansell: Award-winning oil painter and figurative artist.
– Adam Sheridan: Esteemed photographer and instructor.
– Jacque Ruff: Acclaimed mixed media and installation artist.

All three jurors are dedicated members of the Tri Arts Project board, committed to supporting and celebrating local artists.

Submission Notes:
– Include a brief (4 sentences max) bio and your contact information with your submission.
– Artists must live in Douglas County to be eligible to be part of this calendar.
– Upload your images in high resolution and ensure they fit the square format requirement.
– By submitting to this call for entry, artists affirm that they are the sole owners of the images submitted. Additionally, they grant Tri Arts Project permission to print and distribute the chosen images as part of this project.
