Tri Arts Project Selected as Featured Nonprofit by Core Electric Cooperative for 2024 Annual Showcase Event
Sedalia, Colorado — August 10, 2024 — Tri Arts Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering education, creation, and presentation in the arts, is honored to be selected as the featured nonprofit for Core Electric Cooperative’s 2024 Annual Showcase Event. This prestigious recognition highlights Tri Arts Project’s commitment to enriching the community through diverse artistic experiences and educational opportunities.
The 2024 CORE Electric Cooperative’s Member Showcase “Art Powers Us” was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at CORE Electric Headquarters in Sedalia. This private event, attended by staff, employees, families, Chambers of Commerce from Core Electric’s seven service districts, invited guests, and VIPs, showcased a vibrant celebration of local art and culture.
Event Highlights:
- Art in All Forms: The showcase featured a wide array of artworks created by local artists, including visual arts, performance pieces, and interactive installations.
- Entertainment: The event offered a range of local music and entertainment, including performances by local bands and interactive art projects, including the TAP-run squirt gun booth!
- Family-Friendly Activities: Guests of all ages were entertained with games, face painting, chalk art, bungy jumping, stilt-walkers, and buskers, all at no cost to attendees.
Tri Arts Project is deeply grateful for the generous support of Core Electric Cooperative. In addition to a significant donation, all proceeds raised from the Silent Auction directly benefit Tri Arts Project’s programs and exhibitions. This fundraising effort is crucial in supporting the organization’s mission to provide accessible art education and opportunities for the community.
