Cindy Eberly
Cindy Eberly, a Colorado native, grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of her home state. Her career in the travel industry allowed her to explore many wonderful destinations, enriching her life and deepening her appreciation for beauty in nature, art, and the smallest details of a place or object. Inspired by color, texture, light, and line, Eberly’s art is a personal expression through various colors and forms. She has experimented with numerous tools, materials, and mediums, studying surface design and decorative painting at The School of Applied Arts, where she focused on organic and historical ornamentation.
Eberly finds great satisfaction in using flowing colors, whether on canvas or silk, and often works “alla prima,” applying wet paint to wet paint to create organic compositions with an element of unpredictability. Her home studio is a sanctuary for joy, discovery, and relaxation, where creating art serves as therapy for her mind, body, and soul. Eberly also finds fulfillment in volunteering with local art exhibits and collaborating with other artists and organizations to highlight the talent within the Castle Rock community, and she is grateful for the encouragement of her family and friends in sharing her art with the world.
