Deidre Bjorson
Teacher by day, author by night, and outdoor enthusiast on the weekends, Deidre Bjorson writes paranormal cozy mysteries, along with two standalone paranormal mysteries and a holiday cowboy romance—because apparently sticking to one genre would be far too reasonable.
Deidre lives in Colorado with her husband and their three four-legged children, who are convinced they are equally helpful members of the household. When she isn’t weaving tales filled with ghosts, magic, mystery, and the occasional cowboy—or escaping into a good book—she’s usually camping, fishing, paddle boarding, hiking, or riding her motorcycle, basically doing everything possible to avoid sitting still.
She also enjoys taking part in paranormal investigations and remains determined to find an actual ghost someday. A full-time teacher with dreams of becoming a full-time author, Deidre spends her nights and weekends bringing a little mystery, humor, and the supernatural to life.
About the Book:
Hex No! A Willow Berne Paranormal Cozy Mystery
Strange weather, an ominous hex and a baby witch with A LOT to learn . . .
In the beautiful mountain town of Crystal Spring, Willow Berne inherits her maternal family cabin—and a legacy she never knew existed. She’s not just a witch, but an ancestral witch, charged with protecting the town she’s called home her entire life.
After encountering and stopping a swirling black mass of dark magic, Willow realizes that the strange weather and business problems are no accident. Someone is casting a powerful and dangerous hex. But why? And how far will they go?
Between launching her new bakery, finding someone to tackle her kitchen remodel, navigating a budding romance, encountering a secretive vampire, and wrangling a grumpy guardian gnome, Willow has her hands full. But if she doesn’t stop the hex in time, Crystal Spring—and everyone in it—could be doomed.
