Tri Arts Project and Colorado Authors League are excited to bring back the family friendly and FREE Author Showcase and Book Fair on October 23, 2026 at Cantril School in Castle Rock.
This event highlights local writers from our community, featuring live readings, book signings, and the chance to browse a variety of works across genres. Discover your next great read in our community!

Julie Cordova
Julie’s first book, The Other Side of the Rainbow, a suspense thriller, was published in 2023. Her second novel, The Other End of the Lie published in July 2025. She is developing the third book of the trilogy now.
Julie joined the Colorado Author’s League after her first book was published. She attended The Expert Edge session in March 2025: DIY Marketing with Dan Klefstad who suggested authors rehearse reading excerpts daily, so they are prepared to enchant any audience at any opportunity. The conversation that followed led to Julie starting the Monday Mid-day Marketing Rehearsals with CAL and this partnership opportunity with the Tri-Arts Project to host an Evening Author Showcase for local authors.
Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in communication and with her graduate degree in arts and culture with a specialty in creative writing from the University of Denver. She went on to teach writing courses for a few years before becoming a full-time writer.
Jack Maher
Colorado author Jack Maher is a proud fifth-generation Colorado native with deep roots in Evergreen. His best-seller “Poppy: A Novel About A Colorful Colorado Life” is about Denver Art Museum pioneer Eric Douglas (Maher’s grandfather) and was selected by the Colorado State Library as a Colorado Book Club Resource. A former Executive Producer and Multimedia Journalist for Denver’s KUSA-TV, Jack is the recipient of four Regional Emmy Awards and multiple honors from The Colorado Broadcasters Association and Associated Press. In 2025, Maher was appointed President of The Colorado Authors League, a non-profit dedicated to fostering the art and craft of authorship since 1931.
