GM Cooper

My art is an exploration of color, design, and pattern that often appears abstract; upon closer examination, one may find nature realized in its many forms. I studied Fine Arts and Graphics at the University of Illinois Chicago. My artistic perspective is heavily influenced by my experiences living and working abroad for over 35 years--many of my works are derived from photographs taken during that time. I work in various mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolors, collage, and fabric.
