Sewing Introduction - Beginner at Tri Arts Project is open to participants ages 16+. Led by instructor Rhonda Shanahan, This course is an introduction to using your sewing machine (parts of a sewing machine, general maintenance, and how to use a sewing machine). You will leave with enough knowledge to start working on simple projects at home. You will practice filling a bobbin, threading your machine, stitching through practice projects. Optional: Limited number of sewing machine rentals available for additional fee.
Unlock the world of sewing and finally feel confident at your machine — you'll leave ready to tackle real projects at home! Open to beginner participants, this class is a single-session workshop. Spots fill quickly — register early to secure your place!
What You'll Learn & Practice in This Sewing Introduction
- Machine Skills & Maintenance: Learn how your sewing machine works and basic maintenance. You will get comfortable threading, winding the bobbin, and stitching.
