Sewing Introduction - Beginner at Tri Arts Project is open to participants ages 16+. Led by instructor Rhonda Shanahan, This course is an introduction to using your sewing machine (parts of a sewing machine, general maintenance, and use a sewing machine). You will leave with enough knowledge to start working on simple projects at home. You will practice filling a bobbin, threading your machine, stitching through practice projects. Optional: Limited number of sewing machine rentals available for additional fee.

What You'll Learn & Practice in This Sewing Introduction

• Machine Skills & Maintenance: Learn how your sewing machine works and basic maintenance. You will get comfortable threading, winding the bobbin, and stitching.
