Finally, Castle Rock Has an Art Center!

Castle Rock, CO – August 5, 2024 – After a two-year journey marked by dedication and community support, Tri Arts Project (TAP) is thrilled to announce its new home at the historic Cantril School Building in Castle Rock, Colorado. This milestone comes in response to a bold community request for a unifying center for the arts and represents the realization of TAP’s vision to create a dynamic space where creativity and learning converge.

The Cantril School Building, an iconic landmark in Castle Rock, will now serve as TAP’s art center—Castle Rock’s first dedicated space for education, creation, and the celebration of the arts. This historic location will provide a vibrant environment for community connection and artistic exploration.

“We are incredibly excited to unveil our new home,” said Dana Frazee, President of TAP. “The support and generosity of our community members have been crucial in making this dream a reality. The Cantril School Building is a perfect setting for our mission to foster creativity and learning, and we look forward to becoming a central hub for artistic expression in Castle Rock.”

Beginning in September, TAP will offer a diverse range of classes, workshops, exhibitions, and community events at the Cantril School Building. The new space will feature art classes led by skilled instructors, providing opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels to explore and develop their artistic talents. Thanks to the continued support from the community, TAP is able to offer these enriching programs at an affordable fee, ensuring that everyone has the chance to engage with the arts.

“This new chapter for TAP is not just about a physical space but about strengthening our community through the arts,” Frazee added. “We invite everyone to join us in this exciting new era and explore the myriad opportunities for creativity and learning that our new home will offer.”
