About Your Tri Arts Project Watercolor Painting Instructor
Paul Valdez is a professional watercolor artist with extensive experience in both studio and plein air painting.
He is known for his expressive watercolor, oil, and abstract work, and for his signature “Tea to Butter” teaching method that helps artists master paint consistency with confidence.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and has studied at esteemed institutions such as the New Orleans Art Institute, the Leo Marchutz School of Art in Aix-en-Provence, France, and the Denver Art Students League.
With over 40 years of painting experience and 15 years of teaching at various locations around Denver, including the PACE Center in Parker, Valdez continues to share his expertise.
