About Your Tri Arts Project Watercolor Instructor Instructor
I am a Colorado watercolor artist with more than two decades of experience working in the medium. After nearly ten years of formal study, I transitioned to creating full-time in my home studio, where I continue to refine my technique and explore new directions in watercolor.
My work was featured in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District in 2019. Today, I am known for my commissioned pet portraits, and quick portraitures, but my personal work leans into calm, meditative themes. Zen-inspired pieces—stone stacks, florals, minimal abstracts, and local landscapes—are where my creative spirit feels most at home.
As an instructor, I bring the same grounded, intentional approach to teaching that I bring to my art. My classes blend technique with intuition, helping students not only learn watercolor fundamentals but also access their own artistic flow. I specialize in guiding beginners and returning artists who crave a gentle, confidence-building entry into the medium, as well as more experienced painters looking to deepen their style or find a more creative practice.
