TAP Creatives Scholarship APPLICATION
Overview:
Tri Arts Project is pleased to offer four scholarships in partnership with Indigo Oak Fund to help eligible students participate in TAP arts classes offered through Castle Rock Parks and Recreation. Each scholarship provides up to $250 in credit for Tri Arts Project classes held at Cantril School, which may be applied toward one or more eligible TAP classes.
Tri Arts Project scholarships are awarded based on enthusiasm for learning, the potential impact of arts education, and thoughtful responses to the questions below. Previous artistic experience is not required, and beginners are encouraged to apply.
Timeline:
– Scholarship Application Opens: July 20, 2026
– Scholarship Application Closes: September 20, 2026
– Notification of Recipient Award: Sunday, September 27, 2026
– Awards: $250.00 towards TAP Classes held at Cantril School in Castle Rock, CO.

TAP Creatives Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be 16 years of age or older.
- Reside in or attend school in Douglas County, Colorado. This includes students who attend a public, private, charter, homeschool, or college program.
- Have an existing account or be willing to create an account with Castle Rock Parks and Recreation (https://recreation.crgov.com/Program) for class registration purposes. Applicants under the age of 18 must have an existing account with their parent/ guardian or their parent/ guardian must be willing to create an account with Castle Rock Parks and Recreation (https://recreation.crgov.com/Program) for class registration purposes.Â
TAP Creatives Scholarship Requirements and Conditions
- Scholarships are awarded as a $250 class credit and are not redeemable for cash, refundable, or transferable to another individual.
- The scholarship may be applied toward one or multiple eligible TAP classes offered through Castle Rock Parks and Recreation until the $250 credit has been exhausted.
- Scholarship funds may be used only for Tri Arts Project classes offered through Castle Rock Parks and Recreation.
- Scholarship recipients must contact Tri Arts Project before registering for a class. TAP will assist with registration and track the remaining scholarship balance.
- Scholarship awards are subject to class availability and do not guarantee placement in a particular class.
- Scholarship recipients are responsible for purchasing any required supplies when materials are not included in the class registration fee. (TAP offers over 100 classes that do not require the additional purchase of supplies.)
- If a recipient does not attend a registered class or misses all or part of a class, the associated scholarship funds will not be refunded or reissued.
- Once registered, class transfers must be requested through Tri Arts Project (AskTAP@triartsproject.org) before the applicable Castle Rock Parks and Recreation deadline (Participants are eligible for transfer to another TAP program prior to 7 days before the program start date).Â
- After completing the funded class or classes, recipients will be asked to complete a brief feedback form and submit a photograph of the work they created. Submitted photographs may be used by Tri Arts Project only with the appropriate student and parent or guardian permission.
