Bouquet by Gail Cooper (original)
Gail Cooper’s art is an exploration of color, design, and pattern that often appears abstract; upon closer examination, one may find nature realized in its many forms. Gail’s artistic perspective was heavily influenced by her experiences living and working abroad for over 35 years. Many of her works are derived from photographs taken during that time. She works in various mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolors, collage and fabric. Gail studied Fine Arts and Graphics at the University of Illinois Chicago and now calls Castle Rock, Colorado, home.
Her original painting, Bouquet, is TAP’s featured artwork for the Art of Giving Gala and will be auctioned off at the event on April 25, 2026.

About the Artist: Monte earned a BFA from Colorado State University in 1993, and dedicated his career to realizing his artistic visions. He has explored various art forms, including acrylics, pencils, oils, fine art bronze, and mixed media, through workshops and studying under notable artists like Frank Covino and John Seerey-Lester. Monte’s pencil work received recognition in the World Finals of the Western Art Rodeo Association competition, and he has been selected for the Arizona Fine Art Expo and featured on its cover for three consecutive years.
His art has been featured in the gaming industry on Magic the Gathering cards, as well as Dungeons and Dragons. His artwork has also represented several Hollywood productions including Lucasfilm Ltd. Star Wars: Mandalorian, as well as DC Comics and Marvel Entertainment.
With over 30 years of experience, Monte has garnered acclaim as a pop-culture artist, with his work published in renowned magazines and commissioned by prestigious companies. Despite his focus on pop-culture, Monte also has a passion for Western and Fine Art, influenced by his family’s ranching background. His art can be found in various galleries throughout Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota and an ongoing exhibition at the Cheyenne Airport.

Linda Lohr works across multiple media, drawn to the unique voice each material offers. Her practice spans hand-dyed fibers, metals, and oil painting—each chosen for its distinctive capacity to convey richness, texture, and depth. Metals can be carved, patinated, and often combined with enamel or semi-precious stones, while oil paints bring a luminous, timeless quality to her work.
A unifying thread throughout Lohr’s portfolio is a fascination with complexity—visual, emotional, and material. She builds energy within each piece through layered texture, tension, and moments of unexpected harmony.
Before turning to art full-time, Lohr spent much of her career in higher education, researching how technology supports learning. This work deepened her understanding of visual communication and led to the authorship of two textbooks. A sabbatical experience illustrating a children’s book marked a turning point, reigniting her studio practice where writing, illustrating, and art-making now converge. In January she concluded a successful exhibit of her work at the NEXT Gallery.

About The Artist: Pulmonary Butterflies is a concept that Lisa Lopez Huffman developed when she was one of the first unit secretaries on the 9th floor Pulmonary Unit at Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. At the time, there was no art on the walls, and she wanted to donate something that the families, when they came out into the halls, could see something beautiful and hopeful. Medically speaking, a pulmonary butterfly is an explanation of an x-ray that shows infection in the lungs. Lisa created the Pulmonary Butterfly to have the butterflies carry the weight of the infected lungs to a more beautiful space. The hearts signify don’t forget about love!
