Vickie Autobee

Vickie is constantly discovering and creating various types of art. This is something she has done for as long as she remembers.

Studying painting, drawing and ceramics in college, led to working as a production “glasser” at a stained glass storefront, instructing patrons with “make and take” projects at a paper crafting retailer, and teaching special needs ceramic students at an art center. These are just a few of her favorite creative adventures.

A huge part of her joy in this journey is helping others discover a new interest and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Currently, Vickie teaches pottery (hand building), stained glass, and encaustics on a weekly basis. She also hosts workshops teaching macrame, soap-making, candle-making, and embroidery.

At Tri Arts Project, Vickie teaches stained glass and macramé in our classes, helping students learn hands on techniques and create unique finished pieces.
